Poor service and quality

Purchased a Valeo clutch kit from Midas, my mech fitted it on and used copper slip in the process. Clutch was giving problems as there was a shudder on take off and reverse. Sent the clutch in for claim and got rejected because of the copper slip used in process. Purchased a LUK kit, followed same process with copper slip car moves fine. Lost out money for the Valeo kit. Lesson learnt - cheaper product doesn't solve the problem. spend a little more it will give you less headche in the future.
