Avoid this rental agency

Rented a home through an agent, Desire Woest, who acknowledged she works under Vacasa. Problems since day one. Tried to escalate the issue to the agency, the agency kept passing the buck, didn't acknowledge that Desire works for them at all, said she is merely a 'freelancer' and covered their tracks by omiting all my information sent to them, back to my agent who then tried to sue me for 'defamation of character'. I have since moved out of the premises (after 11 months of bad treatment from Landlord and mismanagement from agent), and a chunk of my deposit never returned to me without reason/invoices.

The ladies who operate in Cape Town under VACASA's name are *********** beyond belief, and went as far as telling me to 'be careful what i say' when all the information i had submitted was truthful - the service and management is THAT HORRIBLE. Never again. With no thanks to the Country manager who was *********.
