Worst Experience ever.

If I can give you just a small piece of advise, never ever visit this place or any places related to the Vaal Delta group.

Me and my husband had the worst experience ever, here is why…

1. I had to phone Esme almost 4 times just to send me a quote and her banking details to book a place, we wanted the Cozy corner, however this was booked and she then booked us in at the “penthouse” suite, red flags should have gone off then… 2. So we got there, 1stly the place looks nothing like the 3 pictures on the website, however we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, the main bedroom was locked so we could only access 2 small bedrooms… We did not go trough the place thoroughly, we just left our stuff and went for lunch at a place they suggested (whole other story). 3. We got back at the apartment, we wanted to get in the Jacuzzi, however, the water had a terrible smell, so bad that we had to put soap in the water just be able to bare it, my husband also took some hair off the filter on the inside of the Jacuzzi.. Which means it was never even cleaner after the people before us... As we were sitting in the Jacuzzi, I noticed lights coming from the sitting room, somehow the TV was turned on, not me or my husband could have turned it on as we were in the Jacuzzi, we tough maybe the TV had a timer or something to that affect, so we did not make anything of it. (will get back to this) 4. So after sitting I the Jacuzzi for an hour we had enough, we watched a bit of TV and the decided to go to bed, as we walked to the bedroom we saw there was a door at the end of the hall with a PRIVATE sticker on it, again we did not make much of it. We got in bed and was looking forward to a good night’s rest. 5. We did not get 10 minutes of rest, the wind was blowing, and it sounded like the building was busy collapsing as the roof panels hit against each other, that kept going the whole night, at 5am we could not take it anymore we just wanted to get out of there and go home, we went on this trip to rest before the last stretch of the year… we left there more tired that we were when we got there. 6. So at 5:30am my husband phoned Esme and told her that we want to leave as we cannot sleep at all, as I was busy packing, Esme and another lady came through the PRIVATE door at the end of the hall… when I saw that, everything made sense is became even more creepy.. One of them probably came in wile me and my husband was in the Jacuzzi to turn on the TV no idea why… What makes it even creepier is the fact that they can enter the place where you stay at any time without your knowledge… quite creepy if you ask me… 7. So as I was packing in our food, Esme asked we did not want to stay on the house next door, I said no we just want to go home. 8. She then continued to say they are very sorry and so forth, she also said they will pay us back our money, I phoned her again on Saturday, where she promised me that she will pay me back our money that I don’t need to worry’s, but she will only be able to do this on Monday as her book keeper is only in then. 9. Come this morning (Monday) at 09:29 am I still have not heard anything from her, I phoned her, the other lady answer and said that Esme will phone me back. 10. She phoned me back and advised me that they will not be paying us back our moneys, and that if I go to their website and read the T&C’s it states that if they want to give us another place and we do not except, they do not have to give back the moneys. 11. Went to the website, nowhere does it state anything like that…..
