Phone ****** while with baby no help with cctv
On 3 October 2026 I was at Hartebees V8 in Hartebee****rt for my cousin's birthday celebration. I went to the toilet with my 2 month old baby to change her nappy and my iPhone 11 Pro was ******. I reported it immediately to the manager and asked to check the CCTV footage to see who took it. The manager told me I must wait until Monday. I am worried that the footage will be overwritten by then. I am requesting that V8 please preserve the CCTV footage from the toilet area for that day and contact me so I can provide my SAPS case ***. As a mother with a small baby I felt very unsafe and unsupported.

Our visit to V8 Roadhouse for an 18th birthday celebration was nothing short of spectacular, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a special occasion. The food was truly exceptional across the board. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, perfectly prepared, and generous in portion size. It's clear that a lot of care goes into their menu, and it definitely paid off – everyone at our table was raving about their meal. A massive thank you and a special mention must go to our waiter, Tapiwa. His service was simply outstanding. Tapiwa was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. He anticipated our needs, offered excellent recommendations, and his friendly demeanor really added to the joyous occasion. His efforts genuinely made the 18th birthday celebration even more memorable and special. Think twice
We had a booking at V8 Roadhouse for Sunday 28 December. When we arrived our table was not ready yet. Our waiter did not had a name tag on or introduced himself to us. His service was not good at all, waiting for our drinks etc. When we had to pay we still have him a good tip. We split the bill in 3, we each had to pay R735.00, when my fiance had to pay he had to split our amount over 2 cards R500.00 from one and R235.00 on the other. The R500.00 no trouble, then my fiance said to him R235.00 from this card, he repeated the amount to my fiance. The evening when we got home we saw that he charged us R375.00 and not R235.00 a whole R170.00 more. I've contacted them immediately and they were friendly till we asked for our money back. Now they don't reply on our emails. I had a eishbeine that was as hard as a pease of wood and tasteless, the waiter never came to asked if everything is to our taste otherwise would have send it back to the kitchen. We will never return V8. Toilets overflowing, service bad. Very unhappy. Before you go there think twice.
