Does Shell know anything about the V+ Rewards Programme being distributed in their name?

I filled up at the Shell Harfield Village Garage on Rosmead Ave in Cape Town. I was given a suspicious V+ Rewards Programme plastic card ... with no Shell insignia and was told that this was the new Shell Petrol Rewards programme.

When you go to the website... they ask you for all your details and have a ***** shell insignia at the bottom right of the page.

The Shell South Africa Website contains NOTHING ABOUT this V+ Rewards Programme.
