ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND NOT A BENEFIT AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SE4VICE
This is the worst program in the country. Do not sign up for this frankly useless points system. They proudly state they give 15c per litre back to you. Doesn't too bad, ypu know that will add up. Well I do 8000k. A month for work and pleasure. I have a shell literally 1km from my house. I fill up there mutiple.times per week. With over R40 000 spent I have R480 to show on my v plus card. If I had used engine and fnb ebooks I could have bought a new laptop with the returns.
Thats fine I assumed it would work out better, my fault. But in phoning there call center to ask if my rewards are being added properly the manager at the call center went on to try insult my intelligence and was one of the rudest condescending people I've spoken to at a call center. Yes I'm difficult, but how does a manger act like that. Not only.is the shell vplus the worst rewards system in the country, 15c a litre at R27.90 a litre a joke, I save 50c a litre just by using the season 10k from me. Shell has been going downhill for ages and this system is just another sign of a company pretending to be pro consumer. Please do not bother with this rewards system. There are mutiple other options that are better. R40 000 AND OVER SPENT R480 BACK TO SHOW FOR IT.

We have taken the time to listen to your voice recording from earlier this morning, 7th November 2022.
We have also had a look at your V+ Rewards account and we can see that on average over the last 6 months you are spending R5 800.00 on about 210 litres of fuel. This is of course where a V+ Rewards card has been swiped to earn your R0.15 per litre.
With the above mentioned, please kindly take note of the following:
- As per the T&Cs, point 4.7. From 1 February 2020 until further notice, V+ Rewards are earned by, and awarded to, the V+ Rewards card holder at a rate of R0,15 (fifteen cents) for every 1 (one) litre of fuel purchased from participating Shell service stations.
- Shell and V+ Rewards at times do run double and triple points earn campaigns, which are communicated to all V+ Rewards customers.
- V+ Rewards are awarded on a cents per litre basis and not on the ever fluctuating fuel prices.
- The claimed R40 000 would give you approximately, given the current diesel price, 1454 litres, which would earn you R218.10 in V+ Rewards per month.
- A registered V+ Rewards card needs to be presented at the time of payment in order to earn your V+ Rewards.
- Spending of rewards as per the T&Cs 5.6. No Value in the Account can be redeemed as cash at any time. There is no ‘cash out’ or ‘cash back’ facility.
- Should you have slips in your possession whereby, your V+ Rewards card was not swiped to earn, please send them through to *** for manual capture and going forward ensure that your V+ Rewards card is presented at the time of payment.
