Installation of Intercom; no service after intercom stopped working for some of the residents

We are the managing agents for Villa Cabana Body Corporate. V R Gate Door (namely Vincent) was employed to install an intercom system for the complex. Installation was done in July 2021. By the end of July 2021, residents began encountering issues with the intercom. Vincent was contacted on numerous occasions by the Trustees but the owner Vincent refused to come out and attend to any repairs. Vincent provided numerous excuses / reasons as to why he could not come out. Fast forward to January 2022, Vincent eventually informed our offices that he is no longer working on intercoms and to get a new contractor, leaving the Trustees with a further expense.
