Do not attempt to hire this individual. Gives all flooring guys a bad reputation

Totally disgusted with this guy's work ethic and as a human being a totally unreliable individual who exploits people at any opportunity. We hired this individual who I at first needed to give petrol money to get to work then paid him a deposit of R7300 and was supposed to start work on the next day. He would arrive after 12 then spend an hour on lunch and work supposedly for an hour or two then leave at 15:00 in the afternoon. Then one day he never pitched up and never answered calls until past 17:00 the Thursday evening and said he would be on site the next day. We requested him to bring all material he had purchased along with him as he only came with a 5litre of bitumen glue to glue down the wooden floor tiles and was making a mess everyday which we had to clean up. On the Friday he arrived at 15:15 and requested more money and had still not brought any of the material he had supposedly purchased to complete the job and wanted money for the few hours he spent on site for 3 days he claimed a full day on for labour.
