Uxolo Guest House - Beware

Most Unfortunate Cons: Driveway in a bad state of repair to narrow parking area Guest welcome not professionally done - untrained staff and then rudeness toward us when we complained, put us off staying here Went to look at rooms and found the carpets to be dirty and that we couldn't stay in an inter-leading room which we had booked. We left i.e. did not stay at Uxolo Guest House, after a most unfortunate interaction with the owners, one in person and one over the phone. We left. I wanted a full refund for the above reasons. To top it, while reconciling my bank accounts, I noticed that I had over-paid them by more than what the booking was worth in the first place, through links that they sent me requesting payment. Now, over a month later I am still liaising with Booking.com who is trying to assist me in getting the overpayment back. I have emailed Uxolo Guest House three times, I have sent them whatsapp messages and I have tried calling them. They have not rep**** to any of my attempts to contact them. They have not taken my calls and they were evasive when my husband called them from his number which was uknown to them. Be careful if you choose to book to stay here.
