Uvest witholds deposit for outrageous maintenance
Uvest Letting is charging us two thirds of our deposit for maintenance to be done at our evacuation even though we left the place in the same condition we received it, even had it professionally cleaned. Some issues are even mentioned on the move-in inspection report and the rest was also there at move-in but wasn't noted by their \capable"agent. At move-in you are told every issue is \""livable\"" and maintenance noted are not tended to even after two years. And at move-out you have to pay for everything whether it is your fault or not. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. And this after we decided to move out due to a 20% increase in rent for the following year! Insane! We had to move in without an oven grill"

As this matter of dispute was escalated to me during the month of August and an investigation into the issues was done, the outcome was taken up with the relevant department manager to update accordingly.
