Uvest are all for themselves
We moved into glen valley estate in strand July 2014 and had a move in inspection 3 days after we moved in with peter to cut a long story short we were told that we were high risk tenants and had to pay 3months deposit and 1mmth rent that was a total of R16500 deposit we gave early notice due to circumstance and paid the penalty of R6600 that was required but little did we know when we moved out the Friday end of May and exit inspection was only done the Tuesday cos they don't work weekends and after hours that we would be sent a quotation of R13200 we haven't left it had the maintenance manager come out and do reinspection with my husband and required R6000 I mean REALLY clearly the exit inspection was not done properly! We are seeking legal advise currently and will not let uvest get away with this at all and we will report them. I'm warning everyone out there when renting with uvest u take foto's when u move in and have everything on email because they will take your money and when Peter told us that word of mouth is fine what we discussed with him to keep the shelves we put up in the garage that was a lie I'm totally and utterly disgusted with there service and staff
Dear Client.
Your concerns and sentiments have been noted and has been escalated.
We, at Uvest, take every enquiry very seriously as we work to eradicate any unfair practises in our business. There are very strict measures in place as we conform to the RHA, UPR and are audited on our performances.
Your statement made is valid but is referencing different matters - the deposit asked and the 1 months rent is part of your initial application on the property.
The early notice to the cancelling of your lease agreement will mean a cancellation fee, this is as per your agreement and is a standard endor*****t.
At your exit, the exit inspection done by the inspector will generate a Job Card and from the Job Card a quote. As per the dispute against the quote, I am happy to note that the Maintenance Manager did pay you a visit and did adjust your quote accordingly.
We do rely on our agents that do the move-in's with our clients, to be more accurate and precise in heir inspections so that we can compare that to our exits. We are continuously monitoring these process and are improving as we progress.
Thank you for your enquiry.
