NTT Volswagen are ****** and *******

<p>My brother bought a Golf 6 car at NTT Volkswagen Mthatha dealership, at a cost of R159 000. To our surpise, on that price, the car had scratches and dents, with tyres that were in the worst possible condition, and this was his first car. He deposited R50 000 for the car, but was not happy with the scratches and the tyres, so the manager bought two tyres for the car and fixed the scratches, at the cost of my brother. This to us meant this so called reputable company is able to sell expensive cars with dents and scratches, and expert customers to buy them like that and fix them.</p> <p>My brother then changed to a VW pollo which was cheaper at R139 000, the this was initially approved, but he asked for a quote to go and look for a better interest rate at other banks. The quote came with almost a cost that was about R5000 more than the car cost, so he queried this, and when he was waiting, the pollo was sold, so he asked for the refund.</p> <p>The manager said he will refund him R45 000, because he is liable for the costs of fixing the Golf 6.</p> <p>I went to the manager to fix this but he told me that his decision stands. I asked him, this means that the next client who buys the Golf will buy it at the best condition, with my brother’s cost, and he said if that how I see it then that is how it is.</p> <p>Customers, be aware, VW cars are not the true reflection of what is on display, and my perception about VW has completely changed.</p>
