Very Disappointed With the Quality of Bacon

Very Disappointed With the Quality of Bacon I purchased bacon from the uSave store in Steynsburg yesterday just after 17:00. This morning, when I cooked the bacon, it had a very strong sour smell. I initially thought that perhaps the smell would go away once it was cooked, but unfortunately, it still tasted sour and clearly seemed to be off.

What made this even more disappointing is that I am in Steynsburg for work, having travelled from Matatiele, and I specifically wanted to buy something meaty for myself. I initially considered buying wors as well, but someone advised me against it, mentioning that they had previously purchased wors from the same store and experienced a similar issue with it being off and sour.

I honestly feel that this is something uSave should look into, particularly when it comes to the storage and quality control of meat products. Customers should be able to trust that fresh meat products being sold are safe and suitable for consumption. I also understand that Steynsburg is a small town and that this store is one of the main places where people can purchase groceries, which makes the situation even more concerning. Customers should not feel that they have no alternative but to accept poor-quality products.
