Sarah Hope from urent. Top pick real estate agent!

In a word, refreshing! Ms. Sarah Hope from URENT lived up to her name as she was a ray of shining hope in the circus of real estate in Cape Town. Ms. Hope is friendly, thorough, punctual and has great advice about what to look out for when checking out your potential new abode. She was the only agent that went through the trouble of sending me listings she thought I may be interested in before the date I was scheduled to arrive in Cape Town for viewings. As we walked through the properties she also asked for my opinion and enquired about what I found important to get a better idea of what I was looking for. One may think that this is an obvious strategy for real estate agents but that has not been my experience with this endeavor with other agents. After the viewings she followed up in the same day and even renegotiated some terms with one of the landlords (already done by the time of the follow up).

It was delightful to see someone that has such pride in their work and I would definitely recommend her to anyone that has to go through the stress of finding a new place to live or to someone that needs to showcase their property.

As a side note, I also feel it appropriate to mention that one of her colleagues at URENT was the only agent that bothered to follow up after a missed call whilst one must constantly hound others. I guess you can decide for yourself whether this is a significant indicator of the collective URENT staff business ethics, but it was a positive sign to me. Thank you, Sarah!
