Three-month rental

I used Urban Trend for a three-month furnished rental in Johannesburg. It took about one month and a half until the owner repaid the deposit. Before that, I had repeatedly threatened with legal action. Urban Trend supported the owner when they claimed that I had destroyed one of the beds (it was sagging a bit) and demanded the full amount - R 12,000 - for it even though: 1) The owner had not provided any proof documenting the purchase of the bed (such as a receipt); and 2) The initial state of the bed was not known, given that Urban Trend had not made an inventory in the beginning of the rental. Urban Trend also failed to live up to promises made at the beginning of the rental. The experience was so awful that it would be an insult to businesses providing poor services to say that Urban Trend's services are poor
