Beware

<p>My sister had a stroke in 2015 and was recovering at St Francis Care Centre in Boksburg. The social worker dealing with her case was Mariska Boucher and her physiothe****** was Leigh Ingle.</p> <p>After about 2 weeks at St Francis, Leigh and Mariska brough her home. They arranged care givers through their NPO, Urban ruins. </p> <p>They insisted on a debit order for their monthly fees. My sister and the care givers were not getting along, and before the month was out, they suspended their service to her. According to my sister, they were going to bring two other social workers to take over from them. That never happened. When they left the Thursday, they locked her inside the house with her dog, a plate of food and a glass of cold drink. </p> <p>What I do not understand, is that the care giver who was complaining, came back, and is now working as an indepent care giver. Although my sister pays the care giver directly, Urban Ruins still received money on the 24th of January as well as the 24th of February.</p> <p>I now have some questions;</p> <p>1. As a social worker and a physiothe******, how can they take a patient from a care centre, and decide to suspend their service without making sure the patient is cared for?</p> <p>2. When they received the money from my sisters bank, why did they not pay it back, since they did not render a service to her?</p> <p>3. I tried to speak to the matron at St Francis yesterday, but was unsuccesful. It seems to me, they are not willing to listen to bad practices happening at their care centre</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
