Poor Communication Resulted in Unnecessary Credit Profile Impact

I recently received an arrears notification for an outstanding amount of R552.59, which I was not aware of as no invoice or prior communication was sent to me regarding this charge. I had to assume it came from me changing locks to my apartment.

As soon as I was informed, I made the payment immediately and provided proof of payment. My concern is that this matter has already negatively affected my credit profile, despite the fact that I was never given a reasonable opportunity to settle the account beforehand.
