Unreliable and Unprofessional – Suleiman Karodia from Urban Link

As first time home owners our experience with Suleiman Karodia at Urban Link has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering we are in the final stages of purchasing a property.

After our first viewing, we submitted an offer which was accepted. However, it's now been FOUR MONTHS of trying to arrange a second viewing—with absolutely no success. Everything for the purchase has been approved, yet this agent has made it nearly impossible for us to access the property again.

During the initial viewing, the house was full of the owner's belongings. We waited until they were cleared out so we could get a proper sense of the layout and begin planning for our move. After weeks of excuses, including claims that the keys were with the “electrician,” Suleiman finally confirmed a viewing for the past weekend.

We had a confirmed appointment for 2:30 PM. We arrived on time and waited patiently outside the property until 3:30 PM—an entire hour—with no show and no communication. We tried calling multiple times, only to find his phone was switched off.

At 4:30 PM, we received a call from him saying he was “now available”—with no apology, no explanation, and no regard for our time, effort, or frustration.

This level of unreliability, poor communication, and complete disregard for clients is unacceptable—especially in a process as important as buying a home.

I strongly advise against using Suleiman Karodia or Urban Link if you expect even the most basic level of professionalism or respect.
