Extremely disappointing experience with Urban Fabrics – avoid at all costs.

I would give less that 1 star if I could. We had our couch professionally reupholstered using fabric supp**** by Urban Fabrics, and within just a few weeks, the material started showing excessive pilling and wear — especially in the areas we use most often. This happened under completely normal household conditions.

Let’s be honest — a couch is a long-term investment, and reupholstering a large couch is a major expense. You expect the material to last and look good for years, not a few weeks. Instead, we’ve been left with a fabric that looks worn and untidy.

We raised the issue almost immediately. Since then, it’s been six months of back-and-forth, inspections, and every excuse imaginable: from blaming our pets to claiming we brushed the couch — none of which is true.

Urban Fabrics has offered no real solution, just delays and deflection. We’ve been extremely patient and cooperative, allowing multiple inspections, hoping they would take some accountability — but they clearly won’t.

If you expect quality, durability, or even basic customer service — do not use Urban Fabrics. The product failed, and they’ve done absolutely nothing to make it right
