SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION WITH NO RESPONSE FROM OWNER

I sent this email 3 days ago with no response. Pathetic customer service. Complete disregard for the wellbeing of your customers. I'm disgusted and appalled to say the least.

I'd like to enquire as to what the ingredients in your Green Tea Smoothie is.

I decided to treat my boyfriend to breakfast at your Cafe yesterday, we were very excited as it's difficult to find restaurants that meet his dietary requirements. We had ordered our drinks and food at the same time, he ordered the Green Tea Smoothie which we were assured contains no nuts. After taking no more than half a sip he started having an allergic reaction. He is severely allergic to nuts, and once I informed our waiter that he's having a reaction, she looked at us confused and offered an alternative drink, The Bench press, which actually includes nuts as per the menu?? He's sitting there, unable to breathe, and she offered us a different smoothie...?

We left in a rush and paid the bill, but our waiter very kindly insisted that we take our money back. I'm disappointed in the lack of knowledge amongst your staff. Our waiter asked 3 other people if the smoothie contains nuts and they all said no,all while my boyfriend was reacting severely, as if to prove that they are not at fault. The ingredients of the Green Tea Smoothie are a regular part of my boyfriends diet, so it couldn't have been that. I understand that allergens are often used in your kitchen, however he took one small sip to taste, minor cross contamination seems unlikely.

My boyfriend spent his entire birthday in the emergency room. He couldn't breathe, he broke out in hives, his eyes were swollen shut. He had to be given a tranquilizer to calm down because he was so panicked. A reaction of this magnitude could have been fatal had we not arrived at the hospital in time. Please see images attached and let your team know of the severity of the situation. Please train your team on how to handle these situations. Please teach them about allergies. I'd hate for something like this to happen to someone who lacks the support system my boyfriend is fortunate enough to have.
