I would like to launch a griavance against Upsolute Gearbox & Diff Image in Polokwane.
I Linduyise Sibusiso Mahaye ID ********** 633087 hereby launch a complaint against UPSOLUTE GEARBOX AND DIFF IMAGE (Registration number ***) and his membership number: ********** with Retail Motor Industry (RMI).
The car was towed from Audi Revornia on the 14th July 2017 to Upsolute Gearbox and Diff Image for mechanical repairs. I explained my frustration and experiences I received from fixing the car. The owner indicated that he will start the process once he received 50 percent deposit of the amount charged as reflected on the invoice (R27018.00). I fast track the payment processes with Hollard motor Xtender claim number 78122; registration number: 575416. Hollard made payment of R18500 on 19 August 2017 in his business account ********** 2229. I skipped the rent and also reverse one debit order to settle balance against the invoice. My first payment of R4600.00 was made on the 21st August 2017 which was for the rent and another payment of R3920.00 was done on 29 August 2017 in his business account. The whole amount was settled in August 2017, hoping that the owner will expedite the process of fixing the car.
The worse part of it, I am a contract worker which may lead to my employer to terminate my contract due to not attending meetings and providing support to municipalities. I travel the whole Limpopo province to provide technical support to the municipalities and also training councilors with the province. I also attend meetings at National Treasury in Pretoria. My concern is that, who will be responsible if my employer decide to terminate my services due to his negligence which is aware of.
I appeal to Hellopeter to urgently intervene on the following: - The amount reflected on the invoice is fully settled; - His incompetency to fix my car, yet it was settled in full. - Attending his personal matters instead of fixing my car and no progress provided by him until I call him or visited his work place. - Most of the time he is not available from his working place.
On 26 October 2017, I visited his place to discuss the progress of the car. He indicated that he needs additional amount approximately R19000.00 to buy a new gearbox. My insurance requested assessment report from him and quotation to fix the car and the amount he indicated on the invoice was paid by Hollard motor Xtender R18500.00 and the balance paid by myself.
His delaying tactics put me on the financial crises as I hired a car for two months from my colleague which was costing me R12000.00.
By not attending the meetings, may result to my contract to be terminated. This may cast a doubt that my car will be fixed in an acceptable manor due to his conduct. Just imagine when the first payment made on the 19 August 2017 till towards the end of November 2017, the car is still not fixed.
I requested Hollard insurance to release technician to assess the call and validated the amount paid for the work to be performed by this institution. As a finance person, I would not be able to assess the condition and to check which parts are missing from the car.
The person to be contacted from Hollard is Gaby on 011 - ********** or ********** and **********
The owner may be contacted on ********** and ********** or ********** 151.
Your urgent intervention will be highly appreciated.
Kind Regards Mr L S Mahaye 015 - ********** ********** 635/ ********** 103
