Customer Service & Quality of Workmanship

<p>I would like to express my disgust and in the same token warn the public out there not to do business with Paul Tsotetsi from Upmarket Kitchens due to numerous unpleasant factors & reasons.</p> <p> </p> <p>At 1st he provided a quote very eagerly and made contact, & kept in contact until the job started. He took measurements & was very keen to start. He came very highly recommended. Once the work started & the 2nd payment was done & paid into his bank account, less & less people started showing up for the actual project.</p> <p> </p> <p>Measurements – not done properly & we are now left with a joined top which looks horrid. Curtain spacing in-between the cupboards & walls was not provided for. This was after we met with him late one evening after he had finished his other job somewhere else.</p> <p> </p> <p>We requested Paul on 26/08 to order another top for the basin as he did not plan, nor measure properly & the under counter washing machine is now not an under counter appliance. We are now left in a scenario where we have to pay someone else for his mistakes. He lost interest in the project & to date has not provided reasons for non-completion. Oddly he was very quick to submit the final invoice even though all these other issues were given to him. As is obvious he will not receive another cent from me due to poor service delivery & workmanship.</p> <p> </p> <p>Plumbing – not done properly as we had to pay a plumbing firm to come and fix the problem discussed with Paul on-site which was the water pressure (hot), which still was not addressed after they had been here a 2nd time.</p> <p> </p> <p>Electrician – the stove & plates were fitted in a hurry & to date the stove plates are lose as they did not tighten & fit it properly.</p> <p> </p> <p>Finishing’s – were not done as promised as we were promised that the cupboards will be sanded & finished off properly. Not done to date.</p> <p> </p> <p>Supervision – not present at all & I had to not only pay for the project but also supervise his staff whilst he was busy on another project. The project did not finish time as promised & we still don’t have the correct top for the basin which was damaged when they came back a 2nd time to size the top. They arrived short of materials which we had to provide out of our own pocket.</p> <p> </p> <p>A joy of a sizable project turned out in a misery and agony, with rubble lying all over the place.</p> <p> </p> <p>Not someone I / we would ever recommend as highly as he was as the standard is not on par.</p> <p> </p>
