Good morning, my is Mosesenyane Petrus Mokobane, ID no: ***. Im driving a brand new car, my registration plate is MB 71 SJ GP. I went for my first service at VW Mokopane at 14****m at around July and on the 30th of September the car started overheating on the engine. I went to VW Mokopane for them to check my car. The same Sales Advicer who helped me with my first service was very rude, he even told the Mechanic to go out with me for a drive so that the Mechanic could see what I was talking about, it was like as if he doesn't believe me. The Mechanic was very helpful, he poured something that helps with the coolant then the car went back to normal. On the 22 of October after put fuel at Engene the car started showing an EPC and the engine light and the start/stop engine started to show an error. On the 23 I went to VW Mokopane for help, upon arrive they took the car and they gave me a quote showing that I was pay R5222.73 to them to fix the car. I was told the spark plugs are burned and they had a carbon. They also said they fuel that is in the car is contaminated. I told them I don't have the require amount and they indicated that they can not fix my car. I then went to Engine garage to enquire about the contaminated oil that caused my car to have problems, the manager at engine garage was very helpful, he wrote them an email saying that if they blame his petrol they must give me proof then he will account. So to my surprise the manager G Baxter and her two Sales Advisors (Mpho and Johan), they are throwing me under the bus. I dont know anything, im just a driver and my car started giving me problems immediately after my first service with VW Mokopane. They also refused to give me the diagnostic report they did on my car. I called VW South Africa to report the matter, Mr Lukhanyo said he will investigate the matter. On the 28 of October 2025, he called and he said he is closing the case and at VwSA they take what VW Mokopane is telling them. That was he's conclusion. He closed the case with checking my email, he said it is probably hanging in the inbox. Looking forward to hear from you. *** *** Regard Mokobane MP
