High data costs

I am a student at the University of the Free State. Like any student I have social media and watch youtube videos.

Recently I got my internet bill for the previous months. It is absurd how much we have to pay. May bill for using 11.5 GB was R1100. That is more or less a R100 for a 1GB. I can't see how that is justified with data prices these days. The University gets data at a way cheaper price because they buy on a large scale.

I would like to see a significant drop in costs. I am willing to pay R5000 a year for uncapped internet for example.
