Disgusted - UCT ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT

As former student and budding small business entrepreneur, I believe that being <br> in a position of authority comes with social responsibility. <br> <br> After many unsuccessful attempts, at trying to make contact, with Mark<br> the head of UCT accounting (and being declined by his Assistant Director) <br> I made a trip to UCT Accounting dep.<br> <br> The nature of visit was regarding an educational initiative for accounting students,<br> which falls within UCT accounting department's Scope of Practice.<br> <br> Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mark's friendly PA (Asia), who enquired with Mark if he would<br> take a few moments to speak to me regarding this initiative. Mark greeted with a smile, <br> but immediately shifted moods, insisting that I leave. Upon enquiring the reason for his reaction<br> he insisted my emails were \pushy"and that I must \""explain more\"" or leave.<br> <br> To his abrupt reaction"
