reason for short guarantee

<p>had my roof waterproofed in 2012 by Universal Roofing. They convinced me to use this revolutionary rubber paint supposedly imported from Australia. ( Uniflex 1 and 2 Polyurethane ) The invoice read that they would sand and prime rusted areas using anti-corrosive red oxide.They left their workers unsupervised and commenced by painting the rubber waterproofing. They did not wash the roof, they did not sand the rust and no red oxide anti-corrosive paint were app****. I complained then and they said that it will not be a problem and that they would apply two layers extra of this rubber waterproofing. Within one year the paint started to make bubbles and when this bubble breaks the roof lays exposed undrneath. Had them here twice and the say the gaurantee does not apply to workmanship and the quality of their product. As my roof is not leaking thgey do not see any problem.</p> <p>This roofpaint they use becomes extremely hard and it is nearly impossible to remove , it is very uneven and it traps dust and organic material and water , thus becoming extremely dirty and unsightly. </p> <p>The bubbles and cracks are becoming bigger and more and I will have to redo the whole roof in the next year</p> <p> Universal Roofing told me they will come and do maintanance at a price, but I feel a roofpaint that were very expensive to begin with should last at least ten years. I have had multiple conversations with Universal roofing and had reps here a few times and the comp refuses to repair their shoddy workmanship. Thus I would advise not to use Universal Roofings so called rubber paint waterproofing on IBR roof as it degrades within two years, thus the short gaurantee</p> <p> </p>
