Unity Insurance dropping my calls when I want to cancel my policy

Unity Insurance:

These guys have been charging me over a R 1000 in insurance premiums on a Hyudai Grand i10 bought six years ago. I tried to call to cancel my policy today because they want to charge me almost R2000 from next month, but the call dropped the minute I confirmed I wanted to cancel the policy. Every time I try to get through now, the service line does not pick up my number responses to send me to the correct department.

This is extremely infuriating as I am calling from outside of South Africa and my mates have had no issues getting through - it appears they have blocked my number.

I have emailed to request they cancel the policy but have no way of even knowing if they will.

Please never use any insurance company underwritten by Auto and General.
