SERVICE OR STRIPPING OF PARTS? THE TRUTH!

MARKET TOYOTA COLUMBORG (CAPE TOWN)

My car went for service appointment (70k/km) yesterday was perfectly fine i never had any problems. the service was completed in record time at and no "replaced parts"was in my vehicle as per my usual 10k - 60k km services before however i was given an invoice to pay which i did immediately. Only to find out that the car did not even want to go on or start at all. So people, you tell me how a perfectly fine working battery and car all of a sudden after a "Service"visit your car is dead? - Here is what actually happen Theo (the manager) and his employee Jason who "serviced"my car took out my perfectly fine battery and replaced it with an old one. He (Theo) assured me that the battery is the original battery which cant be found in south africa apparently (this is a company who only use and sell original parts) wanna assure me that they did not replace my battery with an old one cause that was not the battery thats been in my car.

They then came to fetch the car with a starter booster to their "Service"centre and let me know that i now have to pay for a new battery. while they "book"my car in again where i basically had to pay thousands for them to place my original battery they took out yesterday.

****** of note.
