Worst Express shipping ever

This is going to be a long review. Ordered my textbooks from the US on 1 March 2022 and the importer unfortunately uses UPS as their courier company. I paid 90 USD for the so-called "Worldwide Express" service. Anyway my books arrived at the Kempton Park warehouse on 3 March 2022 and nobody informs me how or when to pay for customs until I reached out to UPS South Africa 3 days later. They were very quick to send invoices and demand payments otherwise my parcel would not be released. Cool, I paid R750 for customs and then suddenly they went casper on me. No status update whatsoever. From 15 March I started calling numerous times daily because you either get hung up on or you wait forever. I chose to wait forever and eventually got through. And everyday has been the same story, consultant tells me they've handed my parcel to DSV because their "drivers are over dispatched but you shouldn't worry because it's out for delivery today". That's a fat lie because I've been waiting and no one from DSV has bothered calling me. So this is their so-called Worldwide Express shipping that I paid 90 dollars for. To date, I still sit with nothing. Its ridiculous. I would not recommend UPS South Africa because their definition of "express" shipping means anytime from 3 days to good-luck-not-losing-your-parcel-with-us.
