What is the use of taking insurance

<p>I arranged for a package to be sent from the UK to me in South Africa via UPS, thinking they are trust worthy and efficient, I was promised to received my package on a particular date only to be delayed by a further 4days. I did all the follow ups and running around after them. I paid for a door to door delivery but ended up going to fetch my parcel myself at the UPS depo. When I opened my parcel I found that my Jelly babies had melted and was no longer in the condition it was sent. I took out insurance for my parcel and then registered a claim only to be told they cannot assist me as they think it happened in the UK. What is the use of taking insurance if they don’t live up to it. I received the worst service ever and also got my parcel damaged and they don’t care</p>
