UPS South Africa is a farce

Shockingly bad service from UPS South Africa. I paid a small fortune to have my item shipped via UPS from the USA because they 'guaranteed' delivery on a specific date. The item has been sitting in JHB for 5 days with no communication from them on what the hold up is. It takes for ever to get through to their customer service, and when you do they are of very little or no help, sounding like they are doing you a massive favour by just answering the phone. Abysmal . Will never use them again, and am in the process of getting the company I work for to change couriers.
