The worst! How does UPS exist in South Africa?

The worst! Trying to receive a parcel out of customs, the people I'm dealing with keeps dragging their feet. I have to keep calling them to ask if they got my mail to find out if they have enough information to release my parcel, then only they tell me I need to pay £50, they guy doesn't even explain why I need to pay that. He then left it like that, then I had to push him to ask how the heck must I pay this, and only then he says "oh yeah, I'll send you a mail". Now I'm still waiting for this mail to come even after I pressed him via mail. How does UPS exist in South Africa?
