Terrible service from a courier

Almost a week ago we where contacted to send our importers code for our shipment. When I looked at the tracking this morning, it was still in Kempton Park. I sent an email to inquire and I was told that they waiting for the importers code. I would like to know why it was not given through and why we are then still waiting for our shipment?
