Pathetic as it comes UPS SCS South Africa!

UPS SCS South Africa is one of the most patethic companies I have dealt with in my entire life!

A bit of a backstory is that I ordered a jacket from the Netherlands to South Africa, and the only service at disposal was using UPS. I purchased the jacket for 80 euro and had to pay an additional 20 euro for shipping fees. No "hidden" or additional costs were indicated at all. Not by UPS nor by the store from which the purchase was made.

Posterior to the package arriving at the South African customs, I was informed by a lady or should I say *********** and arrogant employee of UPS that there was a pro-forma invoice that I had to pay for customs and tax.

The charges were as follow: Disbur*****t fee - R120.75 Brokerage administration charge - R172.50 Customs VAT - R234.30 Customs duty - R453.15

Total cost - R980.80

R980.80?! Are you ridiculous UPS? The shipping and custom clearance is almost more than the product and shipping in itself!

I tried calling these arrogant idiots for more than 15 times and holding the line for more than 10 min before getting in connection with them. After speking to the first employee I was transfered to multiple departments trying to understand this ridiculous invoice.

These *********** and arrogant idiots accuse the store of not informing me about the additional costs. Are you kidding me?! They were unable to explain any questions I had relating to customs and tax they are charging me for. Additionally, the phone was hanged up on me on multiple occasions of trying to understand this pathetic invoice.

I vow to never use UPS South Africa ever again! If anyone mentions UPS South Africa in my presence I will make it clear what they are getting themselves into.
