UPS South Africa is by far the worst courier company I've ever had to use. A package was sent to me in South Africa from the US via "express" delivery...what a joke. The parcel took 1.5 days to get from the US to South Africa, and more than 5 days to get from O.R Tambo to my house (which is 40km away). UPS SA, first lost my delivery address, then when I phoned I was told that the package was on its way, when I followed up later I found out that the first person I spoke to **** to me and that the package was never sent out for delivery. It was just one horrible nightmare.

Eventually I got into my car and drove the the physical distribution center and picked up my package myself, because after a week they still couldn't figure out how to deliver a package 40km down the street. I've used many courier companies before and not all of them are great, but UPS SA is by far the worst company (courier or otherwise) that I've had the misfortune of working with.

I would absolutely not wish their level of service (and lack of integrity) upon my worst enemy. So if you feel that your life is too easy and you want to make it more difficult for yourself, or if you feel that you want some angst and stress induced in your life, then UPS is absolutely the courier company for you, otherwise STAY AWAY!
