21st century cant phone when there at your gate
Living in the 21st century one would expect a world wide courier like UPS would be able to inform you what time they will make delivery and give you a phone call if they cant reach you at the address. I have a parcel that I needed delivered before the weekend ordered it more than a week ago took their most expensive shipping method to have it in on time and now I don't have my stock by the needed date. I phoned them to ask what time they would deliver as they claimed they couldn't deliver the day before as I was not home(which I was waiting for the delivery). So the call went they cant tell me what time, they cant phone me when they are at the gate or let me know by any means. How can smaller companies like fedex and mds colleviry do it but UPS not? They didn't even bother to ring the house bell.
