United muslim meat supply unruly folk

I was doing my normal rounds of buying meat at the butcher- United Muslim Meat supply- in Mayfair, JHB.

After waiting a few minutes in the queue, I was called up to the cashier. To the left of the cashiers, almost at the EXIT point, I saw two gentlemen standing. I gathered from the files and books in their hands that they were probably there for donation for a Masjid or something. It's a norm in the month of Ramadaan.

Anyways, the two gentlemen were trying to get the attention of one of the cashiers. They were flatly ignored. The gentlemen greeted again and not a squeak came from any of the cashiers, and absolutely no acknowledgement from the parts of any of the cashiers. So I returned the greeting and smiled.

A lady came from behind the counters and started scolding at them not to harass her customers, which they were not doing by the way. I felt so bad for these two guys. They were so humiliated in front of somany people and I could see the hurt on their faces. They were treated so badly. They turned around and left.

I don't know if the lady who was scolding is the owner or just a worker, but regardless of who she is, her behavior was so unislamic, so bad, so rude , and all this in the month of Ramadaan.

So lady, whoever you are, check your akhlaaq. And to the cashiers, learn to greet!!!!
