Extra charge for sporting equipment

<p>Im currently writting this from OK airport which I became stranded at overnight due to the condescending service desk woman at the Johannesburg branch of United Airlines failing to tell me , when I prebooked my bike in that UA will not refuse to take your bike, they will however disgustingly ****** 200USD from you in order to have your bike go with you on the plane, even though you brough it into the US with you for no extra charge with a Star Alliance airline & no handling fees were charged when you transfered it over to a connecting local US flight. So I just wanted thank you assholes as I wait at this tiny airpoert for 18 hours while I wait for the 200USD to reflect in my credit so I can pay you & all you would allow me to do was change my flight to the next day, also at a charge of 75USD. I will never fly with you again & I will make sure every single person who I know travels knows about your disgusting hidden fees!!!</p>
