WORST SOUTH AFRICAN EDUCATION

The WORST. I transferred from the North West University to UNISA this year due to getting a job because of the financial burden Covid has placed on my family. I have been in 3 different high schools in my last two years of school (moved around a lot) and ended up in some ****ty schools...but let me tell you - this UNIVERSITY beats all. They are unresponsive to thousands of emails that I have sent, they keep me on hold for hours over the phone and when they do respond to your queries, they do not even TRY to assist you. Each person you speak to, says something different, and man do they love their lunch breaks. The NWU has even tried helping me, regardless of the fact that I am no longer a student at the NWU...I send an email, 5 minutes later they respond with possible ways in which they could help , if there are ways available. Let us not even begin with the Unisa sites - IF you are lucky enough to even sign into MyUnisa, congratulations. You were able to do the maximum amount of work for the day, because further than that, you cannot get. How can an ONLINE INSTITUTION'S site , not be able to accommodate all the students????? I swear the site crashes when there are 10 students using it. I am so frustrated, so stressed unnecessarily, and at the brink of dropping out of Uni - all because of some ****ty, unresponsive, slow, careless institution that claims to value students and their degrees. I have never felt so disgusted, exasperated and disappointed in our country's education, as I am feeling right now. I regret transferring, but unfortunately I am stuck now. Do more research, find other options, but whatever you do - DO NOT STUDY AT UNISA . It will be your worst mistake.
