Worst experience of my life

<p>I have been studying for my degree via unisa. Last semester i wrote an exam for HRM3706. I am quite sure i passed this subject as i knew the answers to most of the questions. Hiwever, one is asked not to quote from the text book...but it seems when you write answers in your own words it is marked incorrect because the so called markers follow a set memo and have no actualy understanding of the module. It is unfair to students to have to settle for fail and sib minimum marks because UNISA do not hsve experienced staff in charge of marking instead of outsourcing. I tried calling their offices to find out what is the next step and as usualy there is no answer. I went to UNISA, lines were outside. So i waited in the line only to be told i need to re apply for this subject to write even though it has phased out. This was one week ago...to date the subject has not been loaded by unisa staff hlengiwe(pmb) who assured me it would be done the next day. I have emailed her and although she is reading my mail she does not respond to keep me informed. I app**** for a remark, i have still not received any response despite numerous emails. The communication at unisa is pathetic to put it mildly. Staff have a dont care attitute and believe that we need them more then they need us. What am i now supposed to do? I have no results from my remark. My subject has not been loaded after me paying and being assured it will be. And the course has phased out with this being my last subject. Is there ANYBODY efficient as unisa that can assist? Is there a student council? I think it is high time that students take a stand against this terrible service we are receiving. I have to literally waste daya of work to go there only to be pushed aside as if my enquiry is not important. </p> <p> </p> <p>Many of my friends have also complained about the marking of scripts and being ribbed off marks because markers do not understand the subject content. It is a disadvantage to us as students and south african citizens.</p>
