Why do they even have phones if they never answer them?

I have been trying to contact unisa over the phone for the past week! No one answers their phones. I have repetedly tried to call 20 different numbers from their website. Their emails are also never attended to. I eventually got advice to go to unisa to get help. How is this a distance learning institution if I have to go to the university everytime I need assistance. This is the worst worst worst university in South Africa when it comes to their customer service and communication. Terrible experience.
