Unisa is possibly the worst institution to try and study through! Robbing people out of hard earned money

On Monday the 12th of April I went to the Roodepoort campus to find out about enrolling for my last four modules in my business management course.

I was told that my profile was locked and that I needed to write a ,motivation for them to unblock me, I did this and completed the registration for to complete FAC1501, FAC1502, INF1505 AND QMI1500. FOR SECOND SEMESTER

On the 13 April I received an sms stating that I am temporarily registered and need to pay R6848 to finalize the registration. I then took out a micro loan and paid them on 23 April. On the 1 May I received FAC1501 AND FAC1502 on the 4th of May, to date I have not received any study material for INF1505 AND QMI1500.

In the meantime I got a tutor to start helping me work through the account books I received an extra expense.

On the 24/04/2021 I sent and e-mail to *** to assist with unlocked my my unisa account

On the 4th of May I received a new password via sms, I immediately logged on as I received an sms on that same day to say that I was added to a group for INF1505, a subject I haven’t received books for. I could find any information for INF1501 or any of the other subjects on the my unisa site.

I then called the Call Centre Landline: *** for assistance, the person that answered just told me to send an e-mail *** and explain that I need help excessing the sites. I did this to no help.

In the meantime on 22 and 23 May I received an sms saying I need to submit Assessment 1 for FAC 1501 and FAC1502 I found this strange as I know I was registered for semester 2 and my first assignment is only due in august according to the books I received

On 9, 11 and 23 June I received sms’s about groups and lecturers, this has me worried so I went to campus again to try and find out where my other books are how I access where assignments and assessments are done. The security at the gate told me that the university is closed and that I needed to call the call centre.

I then called the call center and got through to a lady that was more helpful then the others, I gave her my logins and she guided me to where I needed to be. I was then told that Unisa would not be sending me the other two books I was waiting for and that they are online and where they are. HOW WOULD I HAVE KNOWN THIS?. She also told me that I missed all of my 1ST assignments as they were due in like May already. Apparently the subjects was full year subjects meaning I had to do things under semester 1 and 2 NO ONE TOLD ME THIS WHEN I REGISTERED WHY?

She basically told me the 1 assignments were compulsory assignments so even if I do the others I will fail and not be allowed examination entrance or something like that.

Crazy part is the assignment dates in the books and the my unisa site is different why?

Again I tried going to Campus because I need a solution to this issue I was first told Unisa doesn’t operate under level 4. We then went to level 3, I was then told to make an appointment online, I did this, when I got there I was told I need to talk to the people in registrations and they are not back yet. When I went back the following week I was told they are not back due to a student strike.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH A SOLUTION R6800 IS ALLOT FOR A SINGLE MOTHER TO JUST TROW AWAY. PLEASE PLEASE
