Where to start? It costs R1700 per module and you have 10 modules per year, this equates to R17000 per year per student (excluding textbooks, supplementary exams etc.). Unisa has 300 000 students. This means they generate R ***per year in revenue.

Yet there is no support at all. You get zero resources to assist you in your studies. Lecturers never answer your questions. One week before exams and you still do not know when your exact exam dates will be.

You wait 2 months for assignment results and when asked for information, you are ignored.

Just like any other state operated business Unisa is useless and total waste of money.

And let's not forget the yearly price increase and yet the service declines. Unisa is fully online, this means you do not receive the amount of physical study resources you once had. But the price is still raised.

You will have a better chance by writing on a rock and wait for evolution to turn it into a good university than to study through Unisa.
