UNISA - Terrible service

<p>The institution that pride itself on education, UNISA should teach its employees how to help students, and aid them first.<br /> I have been given the run around on numerous times. Just this morning I was calling *** someone kept picking up the phone and slamming it down. Furthermore I spent 15days calling different departments at unisa and not surprising enough no one deals with anything there. Here is where it gets better, I registered to study in the year 2015, this is my second year (2016) and I was told my account is on hold due to unisa not receiving my Matric certificate. How the hell would I be registered without the main document required? So future students before you invest your hard earned money in an institution, think. Unisa does not take your matters into consideration. I am so tired of dealing with people who just seem to say, “This is not my problem!” I had cancelled my 2nd semester and requested a refund… no surprise that’s also not does, their response was, “Just send an email and wait for the system” keep in mind that there is a cut-off date that they don’t tell you about, and they will just wait so you can lose your money. And here is how they plan on robbing you, they credit your account for the modules that you paid for, and they pass a debit, this Is correct, however then when you write your exam then you are re-instate the module for an addition R10 per module extra. Due to someone not re-instating my module they are withholding my results. Modules that I already paid for last year. My question, is all this additional stress necessary when one is studying, the financial burden is enough, then one has to put up with people who are in jobs that they can’t do…. I am dissatisfied with UNISA.</p>
