Unisa - request to defer course

I registered for a course (intermediate and senior mathematics education) and through UNISA this year. Received my study materials in April and fell extremely ill in May. My health continued to decline. I have since been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. I was thus unable to complete all the assignments nor was I able to sit the rxams. I kept the course leader notified. He was helpful at first as I requested to defer the course until 2019 and promised he would assist before he rudely told me to contact the university myself. I have since sent countless emails, spoken to countless people over the phone and received no assistance thus far. All I would like is for confirmation that I may register for the course in 2019 without paying for it again or be refunded by UNISA as the course was not completed due to ill health.
