Unisa not complying with simple request. The cause of which is their fault.

I am a Unisa student with the number ***5. So this year is the final year of my PGCE, wherein I chose to do the teaching practical element. A module that is being phased out this year. I am doing it because I am currently working at a school. As such I am very busy.

I registered, like every student, at the beginning of the year. However, it was not until June 13, after the submission date of the first assignment, that Unisa fully registered me. On top of that, they use a terrible email client, the app of which does not notify me of new messages. As such, since I have a full time job, I cannot always stop to check my email.

So I end up missing the assignment 2 submission date.

They grant an extension, since, I speculate, I was not the only one the University registered late. I complete my assignment, only to find that I cannot upload it on the site.

So I send the lecturer an email with my assignment attached, hoping that it it can be marked. However, since the email system and app are of terrible quality, I miss the notification telling me that the page is open for submission again. I find it later, email having been sent after I had finished and sent the assignment.

Now apparently I can no longer submit a crucial part of my last module that i can never register for again, potentially putting my job at risk, all thanks to the university's sloth at accepting my registration and lack of proper communication channels.

I refuse to be failed right at the end, not after all the work I have put into this, while juggling a job and home life.

All I am asking for is one more chance to upload my second assignment so my future is not completely messed up.
