UNISA Money Grabbing Institute

<p>My daughter registered for a teaching course with Unisa in January 2015 we paid the registration fee, she unfortunately did not start her studies as she had a baby and working full time it was impossible for her. We then received a letter in January 2016 stating I quote “Our records indicate that you have not met this requirement and you will therefore not be allowed to continue with your studies in 2015. If you have already paid your registration fee, it will be refunded to you upon written request”. We wrote to UNISA explaining her situation only to receive another email 27 days later, saying we must contact ********** We did this and another 20 days later we recieved an email saying I quote “Thank you for the enquiry. Unfortunately period for the request has lapsed you daughter has forfeited everything”.</p> <p> I then emailed them back stating that on their letter there is no closing date for refunds and that I would take this further. I then received another email 13 days later stating I could phone the finance department on ********** / 4557 these numbers I have been trying since May to today and nothing nobody answers, do they give this number just to put you off calling again, well I’m not stopping until I am refunded, is this how UNISA makes money *****ing for the poor whites, this is downright *******.</p> <p> </p> <p>You cannot phone UNISA, talk or email anyone they have ****** us of our money and I want my refund. Is this the norm for South African Education Institutes, no wonder this country cannot come right with their education, we have to pay for our education, whilst others get free education from our funds that are not refunded.</p> <p> I really feel like laying a charge of theft against UNISA as this is diabolical.</p> <p> </p>
