Unisa - incompetency and no communication to final year students

Finished my studies and are awaiting audit release on my subjects. It was due 28 Feb as graduation started today 11 March. I phoned and, emailed numerous times (about 15 calls and 4 emails) with no response. I was fortunate enough to get hold of a lady once, after being on hold for 45 min, and she just said “sorry I can’t help. They are very fast to suspend students due to late payments, but they NEVER meet their deadlines.

I was looking at furthering my studies through them, but I don’t think that’s an option anymore. I guess the once in a life time Cap and Gown event will never be in my future and my status at Unisa will stay qualification not completed for as long as I live. It feels like I totally waisted 4 years of my life at a university that does not give a damn about their students and their futures.

Would I recommend Unisa, no not likely after this experience.

I am very sad that this is the future of South Africa.
