UNISA “highly qualified” staff unwilling to assist

I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with a exam result since mid 2019 despite the fact that I have all of the needed proof and communication to explain what had happened. Including the communication with my lecturer clearly showing his lack of interest in solving the issue. The result is that I can not continue with my final year of my degree. I am so fed up, i think the only way is to redo the subject and thereafter continue with my 3rd year. That means a lot of extra costs though, which I can’t really afford, just for one subject and just because Unisa, it’s lecturers and even the dean of the involved faculty is uninterested in solving my problem. Their responses to my emails also show that they don’t read my emails. It’s absolutely sickening that an academic institution can be so incredibly useless and I advise everyone who want to study remotely, to NOT do it through Unisa. You will need help at some stage, especially because their online platforms don’t always work, and then you will not be able to reach anyone capable of helping you and you most probably will not be able to continue your studies. It’s really not worth it, there are other online universities, don’t choose Unisa!
