Unisa Applications VERY unhelpful!

I app**** to study at Unisa, I am currently studying the same degree I app**** for but according to them they only look at your matric results. So why do they want all of your other qualifications as well? And why won't they approve your application if you are already studying the same degree? I have tried phoning them a number of times, but the phone gets put down in my ear. Can someone please assist me?!
